Barossa Valley Food and Wine Day Tour
Full day bus tour (small coach max 20 seater)
Enjoy a food and wine journey to the Barossa, South Australia’s premium wine region. Sample some of the Barossa’s finest wines and gourmet food that makes this region so unique.
As we travel north to the Barossa, morning tea stop is at TeAro Estate, located in the main street of Williamstown in a heritage listed 1850’s barn. Enjoy a morning tea sourced from the local bakery and wine tastings while listening to stories from 4 generations of family vignerons. A visit to Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop* is an absolute must whilst visiting the Barossa. Maggie Beer – cook, writer and founder of ‘Maggie Beer Products’, offers tastings and sales of her full product range including limited edition seasonal produce.
Lunch is at Lambert Estate, Angaston. On arrival enjoy a structured wine tasting whilst sampling local seasonal produce from gourmet platters. Main course follows with two signature dishes, salad and vegetables. You may wish to purchase a glass of wine from the impressive wine selection, or enjoy a coffee accompanied with their popular Chocolatier (Chocolate Port).
For a panoramic view over the Barossa, we visit Mengler Hill Lookout, before our last stop for the day at the award-winning Pindarie Cellar Door, which feels more like an Australian Homestead than a cellar door. A great spot to finish off your Barossa Food and Wine Experience.
