Disembark to meet your Gija (aboriginal guide) and be welcomed to Country before indulging in fresh damper and jam before heading out in the four-wheel drive (4WD).
By 7:30am you are cruising around the side of the Bungle Bungle Ranges learning the history of the local Gija people, the area and the dreaming stories. You will head into the the Northern Massif, the Echidna Lookout and Chasm - it is stunning.
After exploring the Northern Gorges enjoy morning tea and then back in the 4WD to the southern side of the Bungle Bungle Ranges and the incredible Cathedral Gorge and surrounds.
On your walk into Cathedral Gorge you will learn about the bush tucker and abundance of wildlife, the country is a smorgasboard! Then relax in the shade of the gorge for a picnic lunch before you head off along the bungle domes walk.
We depart back to the airstrip to enjoy a cold beer, sparkling wine or cold drink with nibbles under the gum trees. We then board the aircraft to return to Kununurra over the Argyle Diamond Mine and learn about the Jaliwang (Barramundi) Dreaming and how the diamonds came to be.
