Overview:

Feel the need for speed? Jump on a quad bike to zip around the immense Stockton Beach Sand Dunes, part of NSW’s Worimi Conservation Lands, with an Aboriginal guide.

This tour is owned and operated by the Worimi Local Aboriginal Land Council and the local Aboriginal people, including Elders and Youth. The tour travels on land not open to the public.

No experience necessary. Riders must follow rules and instructions as provided prior to setting off. Two guides accompany all tours. Children may travel as a pillion passenger provided they are minimum 130cms in height.

Tour Dates: Monday to Friday 9.30 am and 2.30 pm - min 4 passengers required to operate the tour

Overview:

Culture, adventure and fun combine in this exceptional 1.5 hr tour at the magnificent Worimi Sand Dunes 
located at Port Stephens (approx. 2.5 hours from Sydney) recognised as some of the highest sand dunes in the Southern Hemisphere! An authentic local Aboriginal cultural experience (on country) plus quad bike sandboarding on ‘exclusive access only’ sand dunes, make this tour a genuinely unique experience.

Expert guides lead small groups across the dunes, riding safely from bush to beach on 400cc quad bikes. Learn about culture, bush tucker, dig for fresh water and see one of the many Aboriginal Midden sites along the beach. Experience the magnificence of the Worimi Sand Dunes with glorious sweeping views to the coastline and an informative interpretation of the traditional occupation and uses of the land. And of course, the excitement of sandboarding.
