CATTLE DRIVE
Hooves and Horns down the Oodnadatta Track

The 2004 Hooves & Horns Down the Oodnadatta Track cattle drive is an event being organised by volunteers from the William Creek Gymkhana Club and the surrounding pastoral properties. The Flinders Ranges & Outback South Australian Tourism Marketing, Northern Regional Development Board, Outback Areas Community Development Trust and members of surrounding communities such as Coober Pedy and Oodnadatta are also providing support, advice and assistance.

"The purpose of the event is to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS), an essential service for people in "the bush" throughout Australia, and local charities."

On any given day there will be positions for thirty riders. Those not wishing to ride may opt for walking or driving tours that will be available. Riders may ride all droving hours or hours of their choice. The camp will move everyday at least 10kms.
