QUEENSLAND RAINFOREST LODGE
The 2 hour journey from Cairns to your Lodge is in itself
a thrilling experience. It begins with a courtesy car that
takes guests to the Hinterland Aviation Terminal. A 30 minute
scenic flight follows the dazzling Queensland coastline over
the fringing reefs and tiny islands of the Coral Sea. Landing
on an Outback airstrip, guests are met by the Lodge's friendly
staff and escorted on the short trip by unsealed road to the
banks of the Bloomfield River. From here, the launch cruises
downriver to the sea and across Weary Bay to the Lodge nestling
almost unseen in the rainforest. The magic of the Lodge takes
over.
There are 17 individually designed natural timber retreats that encircle the main lodge, each site specially chosen for its naturally beautiful surroundings. With colonial-style elegance, first class amenities and idyllic settings, the Lodge’s guest rooms and retreats are your personal haven throughout your stay.
All rooms have a verandah with stunning views of the rainforest and Weary Bay, en suite facilities and are serviced daily.
